How we’re getting the UK moving again

Posted  /  08th Jun 2021

This week, we are delighted to announce the official press launch of TAAP Visitor Book, something a range of companies across many different sectors are already using and a solution that has attracted interest from hundreds of other businesses.

The Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdowns across the UK have undoubtedly been tough, to say the least, for all of us. But we passionately believe at TAAP that through innovation and hard work we – alongside the rest of the country’s business community – can get the UK moving again and hopefully reach “significant normality”, as the Prime Minister Boris Johnson has put, in the near future.

That is where the TAAP Visitor book comes in. Our GDPR-compliant app, which was originally launched to help create contactless digital receptions for offices, allows companies to log customers, suppliers and others coming and going from work premises. It’s a simple, low-cost, scalable solution to help businesses comply with the UK government’s guidelines.

There is no special hardware required, just access to the internet. For businesses, the cost is £50 per month plus £5 per month for each premise or site. However, for their visitors the app is free to download.

After the visitor has filled in their details on the app, they can log into any business subscribed to the TAAP Visitor book system in seconds.

As the system is GDPR compliant, they can be confident their data is secure. As well as logging people in, businesses can also digitally provide conditions of entry such as health & safety policies, and in the current climate, a checklist of COVID-19 symptoms.

Rather than different businesses launching their own solutions, the more companies that sign up to the TAAP Visitor Book system, the more the app can become a valuable tool in the fight against COVID-19.

The app provides a more accurate, and as it is touch-free, a more hygienic solution to getting people’s details than the old-fashioned paper-based approaches many are adopting. Health authorities can speedily access the details of anyone who visited subscribing premises if they need to contact them in the event of a coronavirus outbreak.

We would be delighted to hear from you or your business if you feel TAAP can help you, your customers and/or suppliers. We pride ourselves on our seamless delivery and have decades of experience of working hand-in-hand with in-house IT systems and teams. So, together, let’s get the UK moving again.
