What are Managed Resource Groups (MRGs)?
  1. MRGs are resource groups created within the customer’s Azure tenant, specifically for TAAP applications. These groups:
    • Are managed by TAAP.
    • Are segregated to ensure limited access.
What does Co-Admin access mean in TAAP Accelerate?
  • Co-Admin access is limited to the MRG created for your application. This ensures:
    • TAAP can manage resources only within the MRG.
    • No access is granted to other resources in your subscription.
What permissions models does TAAP Accelerate support?
  • By default, TAAP uses the Publisher Managed model, where TAAP manages the MRG and restricts customer access. Other models include:
    • Publisher and Customer Access: Full access for both parties.
    • Locked Mode: No access for TAAP; restricted access for customers.
    • Customer Managed: Full customer access; no TAAP access.
Can TAAP access resources outside the MRG?
  • No. TAAP’s access is strictly confined to the MRG, enforced by Azure’s security policies.
What credentials or mechanisms does TAAP use for access?
  • TAAP uses service principals and automated mechanisms for secure, auditable access.
Can I delete the MRG after evaluation?
  • Yes. Deleting the MRG removes all associated resources and configurations.
How does TAAP ensure data security?
  • TAAP adheres to Azure’s compliance standards and uses automated processes to limit risks.
